Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-10

1. Who we are

Pile (“we”, “us”) is a solo-built AI emote-pack generator. The service runs at joinpile.com. Contact: karjunvarma2001@gmail.com.

2. The service

Pile generates AI emote packs from a text prompt + style choice. You create an account, generate a free preview pack, and pay $9.99 (Pack) or $19.99 (Mega Pack) per one-time pack. No subscriptions, no recurring charges.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity under it. Don't share credentials. Don't create multiple free accounts to circumvent the one-preview-per-signup limit. We may suspend accounts found doing so.

4. Acceptable use

  • You may use Pile output for any commercial or personal use, including reselling on Etsy / Fiverr / Gumroad / Patreon (a commercial license is included with every paid pack).
  • You may NOT use Pile to generate content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, deepfakes of real people without consent, or content that infringes a registered trademark you don't own.
  • You may NOT use Pile output to train another AI model.
  • You are responsible for what you generate. Pile passes prompts to upstream AI models (Replicate); the same content rules apply as on any AI image tool.

5. Payments + billing

Dodo Payments processes all payments as merchant of record (handles tax compliance globally). Pile never sees card data. Every paid action — one-time pack or Mega pack — opens a fresh Dodo Checkout. All purchases are one-time charges; no recurring billing.

Prices are in USD. We may change prices for new orders / new subscriptions; existing active subscriptions are not retroactively re-priced.

6. Refunds

Our refund policy is at /refunds. Briefly: preview packs are free (no refund needed); paid packs are non-refundable once delivered (you see 4 watermarked emotes before paying — that's the refund window).

7. Ownership of output

You own the rights to packs you pay for, including commercial use. Pile retains the right to use anonymized aggregate metrics (counts, latency) and the right to display work you opt into our Examples gallery.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no SLA guarantees. The service depends on third parties (Supabase, Dodo Payments, Replicate). If a generation fails for technical reasons, retry — failed generations don't consume your sub quota.

9. Termination

You can delete your account anytime by emailing karjunvarma2001@gmail.com. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or attempt abuse. Upon termination, your access is revoked but your existing paid packs remain downloadable for at least 30 days.

10. Liability

Pile is provided “as is” without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top reflects the last change. Material changes are announced on the dashboard. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are resolved in good faith first; failing that, the courts of jurisdiction in our principal place of business.
